Weeks of Supply Calculation
A1 = Monthly Inventory Value of 12
A2 = Monthly Cost of Goods Sold of 3
A3 = =A1*12/A2 [this give me the turn rate of: 3
To calculate the weeks supply of product I would use the following formula: =A1/SUM(SUM(A2*12)/52) [this gives me 17.33 weeks supply]
It would be helpful to have a calculation that could arrive at the weeks supply without having to have access to both the Inventory Value or the Cost of Goods Sold.
Is it possible to calculate the Weeks supply with only the turn rate and one of the other two? In other words if all you had was the turn rate and the inventory or just the turn rate and the cost of goods sold, could you come up with the weeks supply?
Im in the process of calculating sales people tenure and cant seem to get my if statement to function properly.
basically, I have a YTD Hire date in weeks for sales people i.e. 8, 9, 10 all in weeks
I need to calculate their tenure if they qualify for a trip.
basically, if there tenure is less than 26 weeks, then 26 weeks otherwise use their YTD Hire date if it's less than 26
D7 = # of weeks in current year
G10 = YTD Hire date in weeks for sales reps
im just really confused why the if(and or.if(or wont function the way I would like it to. thx you very much!
I have a spreadsheet with current inventory on hand and the sales for each month from the last year. I want to figure how many months our inventory on hand will last based on the last years sales. For instance, WidgetA has 100 on hand and Mar, Apr, May, Jun & Jul sales were 5,10,15,40,60, respectively. I know that we have 4.5 months supply, but I have to manually figure this calculation. I have more than 400 items. This takes a long time to figure, is there any way to automate the figuring of the months supply?
I need to create a formula where it calculates the number of weeks and days between 2 dates.

B2 = 1/30/09
C2 = 5 weeks 1 day
I found example formulas that calculates years, months and days.but no
I am creating a userform for employees to request office supplies. Their requests creates one database so we can see how many supplies are being used, and which departments have the greatest needs.
I have another database of the supply inventory that I would like to be instantly updated with each supply request so that we can tell in real time when we are low on a particular supply.
I have created the userform for requesting the supplies, and have created an inventory database.I'm just not sure how to link the correct fields from the supply request database to the inventory database cells to be updated.anyone have any ideas for me

Script allows developers to easily embed the functionality of calculating end time from a given start time and span into in 1/2 hour increments.
REQUIRES Cold Fusion 5.0 or MX to run- Uses "CreateTimeSpan" to translate both start time and time span into minutes. That way only a simple addition is required to determine end time.-"TimeFormat" is then used to return the start time and end time back to a HH:MM based time format.-Several of the "TimeFormat" formatting options are provided with this script.
The human body requires a fresh supply of water every day. Not only is water one of the most abundant nutrients available, but it's also the most important. Water helps regulate and maintain your body temperature, transports nutrients and oxygen, removes waste products, and moistens your mouth, eyes, nose, hair, skin, joints, and digestive tract. Limiting your water intake can result in dehydration, elevated body temperature, fatigue, decreased performance, and increased risk of heat-related illness. Consume at least ten 12-ounce glasses of water per day.
