Random Names and Numbers (non-repeating)
I'm looking to fill a range (say a1:a7) via VBA with random whole numbers from 1 to 7 without any repeating values, i.e., each number is only used once in the range.
I have a list of 600 names. I would like to generate a random number between 1 and 600 for each person but not have any repeating numbers. So far I have used =rand()*600 This give me the correct number range but many of the numbers repeat.
Can I accomplish what I want to do?
I have a list of 65 names sorted alphabetically. I want to choose 17 names by random. So my tasks is: how to choose 17 random numbers between 1 and 65. I know how to produce random numbers in Excel, but
I don't know how to locate them to be between 1 and 65 .

This drag-n-drop movie clip is a self-contained bird that sits on a wire, fence, branch, etc. and does its own thing. It fluffs its wings occasionally and then at some point it flies off into the sky. After a random wait, it flies back to its original position. You can add as many feathered friends as you want and they will all behave independently. Use some scaling/skewing/tinting to make each one slightly different.
By simply changing a few numbers, their behavior can be modified to have more or less chance of doing any of the actions. The flight path uses a Motion Guide layer.
