multiple vlookups in one cell?
I am trying to populate a table with information from another table, but each cell requires 4 conditions to be fulfilled. I need the cell to be populated with the correct data according to cycle, period, product and retailer. Is there any way to do this?
I want to create a serious of two VLOOKUP functions but am having a lot of trouble. More precisely, I want to create one formula where the formula tries to match the value in A1 and if it doesn't find anything try matching the value in A2.
How do I accomplish this?
On the program tab the items marked with an "X" I need the material and the total cost to appear on the summary tab.
I can do a vlookup but only get the first item to appear.
Is there a way to put multiple vlookup lookup values in one cell and have the result of multiple vlookups appear in one cell? For instance, I have this table:
I have a cell that contains "A, B, C"
I want the vlookup to reference the cell that says "A, B, C" and return the sum of the values for A, B, & C, in this case, 19.
I previously did multiple vlookups in one cell with a + operator between them, and had A, B, and C each in a separate cell.
Is there any way to put multiple values in one cell and have the vlookup sum them automatically? They don't have to be comma separated, if that makes a difference. But they will be varying groups of text with a varying number of characters.
I have a product that comes in sections such as 1/3 1/3 1/3 or 1/4 1/2 1/4.
Based on this, each of the sections is priced separately and differently based on its individual size not the size as a whole.
as an example
100 wide x 60 high as a 1/4 1/2 1/4 would produce a 25 wide, a 50 wide and a 25 wide.
The 25 wide is 50.00 per square foot and the 50 wide is 40.00 per square foot.
How do I break that all down into one equation to give me one total?
you can see what I am using now in the test attached but it only calculates the product as a whole
