Formatting secondary axis bar chart overlap trick.

Formatting secondary axis bar chart overlap trick.

Price: FREE

I have a bar chart that has two Y-axis and used the trick I found in this forum to create dummy values so the bars don't overlap. Works Great.
However, I have chosen a specific type of chart layout that I would like to use but would like for the dummy values not to show.
I know I can use a legend and delete the text from the legend but wondering if getting rid of the dummy values at the bottom of the chart is possible.
I've attached an excel doc for reference, currently using Excel 2010.

Cluster charts and the secondary y-axis

I'm trying to create a cluster chart with two series' of data but with a secondary y-axis. Upon clicking on secondary axis (Format Data Series / Axis
/ Plot on secondary axis) it stacks each cluster, meaning each data pair. I want them to stay side by side, just as they appear when there is only one axis (ie. no overlap). Once the secondary axis is clicked off, manipulating the overlap has no effect. I can't seem to separate the pairs.

I've read several postings regarding adding a secondary axis to a bar chart, but I am having a problem. When I select the data series I want to plot on a secondary axis, the "Axis" tab does not come up, just Patterns, Shape, Data Labels, Series Order and Options. I can get it to work on a line graph, but I need this to be a bar chart. Help?

You can even pass in a date range for the x axis and it will create the x axis labels for you. Thats something that the Google Chart API doesnt provide you. Then, you can also pass in a date just like you do in PHP to get the labels formatted just the way you want.
