Extracting List of Occurrences
I have a rather large list of customers for our non-profit (almost 700 names) and it is set up to keep track of this years purchases of six different products. The products are in different columns and contain just one number to indicate number of items purchased. They may have purchased one or all six items.
I am trying to find an efficient way to extract this years customers and purchases and create a list that I can take to our distribution site to keep track of who has shown up and what they should be receiving.
There has to be an easy way to do this, but I haven't found it yet.
Please see the attached spreadsheet. I have a list of 1268 names, some of them appearing more than once. I want to know how many times each name appears on the list, and then rank the names by the number of times they're listed.
I have a large rectangular table filled with cells each holding
numerical integer values, from -2,00 to + 2,00.
I want to extract a listing sorted by values, ending up with a two column list data in the form of:
Is there a statistical or other Function which will accomplish this
I run excel 2007 on a mac and I'm having trouble extracting numbers from a table to create another separate table or list. Spreadsheet attached is how I get the information from a 3rd party and I want to simply extract the weekly total hours so that I have a list something like that in blue. It can be anywhere just I need the information with no gaps
I've been trying to do this for couple of days now and really need an answer, as I've hundreds to go through for a couple of years worth of data.
I need the new table to be in a format so that I can then easily run formula's off of these numbers.
need help with this.
Column L contains the values I want to count the occurrences of. The list contains some values once, some multiple times. For example, the list contains the word "near" 32 times and the word "far" 1 time, BUT I only want to count 2 (once for each word)
Now I have seen the equation that does this for a set range:
And I understand what it does (Not really positive on how it actually works the calculation).
Anyways - Column J includes the date. So I want to make the above calculation (counting each unique occurrences only once in a list that includes duplicates) where it only looks at Column L cells that corresponding to Column J cells of the date in question.

The ComboBox can be configured to allow selection of multiple options, but in this case a list of options with CheckBox is much more intuitive for users.
CodePeople List transform ComboBox with multiple selection into a CheckBox list, and also to allow the incorporation of new options that are not part of the initial listing.
Mailman is Python-based software to help manage email discussion lists, much like Majordomo and Smartmail. Unlike most similar products, Mailman gives each mailing list a web page, and allows users to subscribe, unsubscribe, etc. over the web. Even the list manager can administer his or her list entirely from the web. Mailman also integrates most things people want to do with mailing lists, including archiving, mail-to-news gateways, multiple list owners and moderators, and so on.
