Autofilter Select all with VBA
Selection.AutoFilter Field:=12, Criteria1:=PostcodeSector
Selection.AutoFilter Field:=13, Criteria1:=NeighbourCluster
JobNumber = Range("A3").Formula
here is the snippet of my code that does not work.
I understand why it does not work (A3 is filtered and so is hidden)
what im actually trying to achieve is select the first line of the first column in my autofilter.and I have no clue on how to do it?
Got stuck with automating a script to copy autofilter results to clipboard. Here's a part of my code, I'm looking for a solution to select only the rows shown in Excel after the autofilter is applied (the underlined commands will select every row in range, not just the filtered ones):
Selection.AutoFilter Field:=6, Criteria1:="<>QTY ORD", Operator:=xlAnd, _
Selection.AutoFilter Field:=32, Criteria1:="=FINANCE", Operator:=xlAnd
I am trying to do a macro where it pulls an autofilter by a specific criteria. Once that is done, I need to select the 1st cell in that autofilter (it could be N2, N6, N99, etc) and then goto that cell, put a formula (which I will do), and then populate until the last row's cell in the autofilter is done.
How do I go about doing this? My issue is how do I determine the Range of the autofilter, then populate the N column with data if that makes sense.
I'm able to create the .AutoFilter using VBA, but I haven't a clue how to:
(1) Find out if the .AutoFilter method produced any results or not,
(2) Navigate to the top row of the range, and
(3) Advance from row to row.
I need to use the values in each cell to initialize a numeric variable for use in an accounting application. I'm using Excel 2K3 with Windows XP.
I need vba code to Select first visible cell below the header row after applying autofilter on column Q of the data. Can somebody help me on this?
But it does not work. Probably because column Q is filtered to show only blank cells,

Facebook-like selector widget improves usability of ordinary multi-select input controls replacing them with new fancy facebook like selector, user friendly, with auto complete.
In ordinary multi-select form controls, if users need to select multiple items, then they have to click holding down the CTRL key (for Windows, the command buttonn for Mac). That can get annoying for users, especially with long list of selectable items.
Ordinary HTML select controls also are known to cause layout issues, for example if you need to put a layered div over a select, you will realize that Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and lower will still display the select box.
With Facebook-like selector, the select control is turned into user-friendly, functional, searchable, and autocompletable widget.
